💛 Roots of Empathy 💛
27th Feb 2026
Primary Four loved having their ‘tiny teacher’ Baby Lana and her Mummy Aoibhinn in for their family visit.
During this session we focussed on ‘sleeping’ and the children had plenty of questions to ask Aoibhinn about Baby Lana’s sleep. We could see real empathy in action - the children smiled with Baby Lana and got sad when Lana was sad.
The Roots of Empathy programme helps to teach the children about their different feelings and how every feeling is okay. It helps the children to develop empathy, voice and respect for others – skills that matter beyond the classroom and into the future.
Thank you Aoibhinn and Baby Lana for everything you do to make this possible. ⭐️
