Digital Leaders
Our Digital Leaders have shown exceptional enthusiasm and skill in using technology and they have made a significant impact in our school community this year.
Responsibilities of our Digital Leaders:
Supporting Technology Use in Classrooms: They will assist adults and fellow students with the use of digital tools and resources, ensuring everyone can make the most of our technology.
Promoting Online Safety: Our Digital Leaders will help educate their peers about safe and responsible internet use, including how to protect personal information and avoid online risks.
Leading Digital Projects: They will spearhead various digital initiatives, such as creating multimedia presentations, managing the slideshow in school, and organising the Safer Internet Week events in school.
Providing Technical Assistance: The Digital Leaders will be on hand to troubleshoot common technical issues, helping to keep our digital learning environment running smoothly.
Encouraging Digital Citizenship: They will promote positive online behaviour and digital etiquette, fostering a respectful and inclusive online community.
We are incredibly proud of our Digital Leaders and look forward to seeing the positive contributions they will continue to make.
On Tuesday, 11th February, our school proudly took part in Safer Internet Day 2025, joining schools and organisations across the globe in promoting safer and more responsible use of online technology.
This year’s theme, "Together for a Better Internet", encouraged pupils to reflect on how their actions online can make the digital world a more respectful, inclusive, and secure place for everyone.
During the assembly, our digital leaders spoke about many key topics such as online privacy, digital kindness, and how to stay safe when using the internet. We are committed to equipping our pupils with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.
Together, we can make the internet a better place for all.
