e-Safety & Digital Citizenship

At the start of each school year, pupils learn how to use technology safely, responsibly and respectfully. As part of this, children are given an ICT Acceptable Use Contract, appropriate to their age and stage.

The agreements outline clear expectations for using the internet, iPads and computers in school, including being kind online, protecting personal information and knowing when to seek help if something causes concern.

Children share these agreements with parents and carers and sign them as a commitment to safe and responsible online behaviour. This partnership between home and school helps reinforce important e‑safety messages and supports positive digital habits.
