Music and Movement in Nursery 🎶

Our nursery children had a fantastic time during our recent music and rhyme session with Jo Jingles. 🎶
This week the activities were themed around autumn and woodland creatures. The children loved the sensory experience of tossing colourful leaves into the air. The children were invited to take turns to discover which tiny friends were hiding in the tree—finding a squirrel, hedgehog and even a little mouse!
Along the way, the children explored the concept of rhythm by keeping a steady beat on their tambourines. This simple activity helps develop listening skills, coordination and early musical awareness—all while having fun! 🤩
