P5 WW2 Workshop
23rd May 2025
Primary 5 had a fascinating visit today from Mark, a representative of the Northern Ireland War Museum. He delivered an engaging talk all about World War Two, with a special focus on the Blitz and what life was like on the Home Front.
The children learned about the looming “threat of war” and the many ways people prepared for possible attacks. Mark also brought along a selection of authentic wartime artefacts, which the pupils were thrilled to examine up close.
The workshop was highly interactive, and the children impressed us all with their thoughtful questions and confident answers. A big thank you to Mark and the Northern Ireland War Museum for bringing history to life in such a meaningful way!
