The Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis

11th Oct 2025
We, at Holy Trinity Primary School, were deeply honoured to welcome the relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis into our school community on Thursday, kindly brought in by our Primary 4 teacher Miss Wallace.

With great reverence and joyful faith, the relic was brought into each classroom, allowing every pupil and staff member the opportunity to encounter the legacy of this remarkable young saint.

Blessed Carlo, known for his devotion to the Eucharist and his pioneering use of technology to share the Gospel, has become a powerful role model for children and young people around the world. His presence in our school—through this sacred relic—was a reminder of the beauty of holiness in everyday life and the call to live with purpose, kindness and faith.

Our Pupil Senior Leadership Team welcomed the relic with dignity and prayerful reflection. In each classroom, teachers facilitated age-appropriate discussions and activities, helping children understand the significance of relics and the inspiring story of Carlo’s life. Pupils reflected on his example of using his gifts to serve others and deepen his relationship with God.

This special occasion was not only a spiritual one but also a celebration of our identity as a School of Sanctuary—a place where all faiths and communities are welcomed daily and compassionately.

We are grateful to all who made this visit possible and pray that the spirit of Blessed Carlo Acutis continues to inspire our pupils to live lives of love, learning and holiness.
